Rental accountant (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Ensuring proper accounting for a wide range of own and third-party managed properties
• Account assignment and posting of invoices and rental/deposit receipts as well as monitoring and clarification of open positions and differences
• Independent preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Record and review rental agreement regulations and analysis of the allocability of individual positions in conjunction with property management
• Responsibility for the dunning process and debt collection measures
• Taking over communication with tenants, owners, authorities, service providers and banks 
• Creation and maintenance of master data and management of rental deposit accounts
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with deadlines and schedules

Your profile

• Completed business training or studies 
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position or as an accountant for accounts receivable/payable, ideally experience in rental accounting
• Numerate and conscientious personality as well as real estate know-how and digital affinity, experience with ix-Haus desirable 
• Entrepreneurial mindset and proactive approach
• Very good knowledge of the MS Office package, especially MS Excel 
• Independent, structured and team-oriented way of working

• Responsibility for commercial and technical property operations in accordance with legal requirements for 
  primarily residential properties in Berlin
• Property management with the ixHaus software, in conjunction with Casavi and EverReal
• Controlling, monitoring and coordinating external service providers
• Managing core data, property controlling, budget planning and budget tracking
• Regular property inspections with initiation of necessary measures
• Supporting the expansion of property management in the Berlin area
• Co-operation with the letting department

Your profile

• Completed property-specific training or studies 
• Several years of professional experience in the management of residential properties 
• Knowledge of building technology and construction issues is an advantage 
• Experience with ix-Haus desirable 
• Strong, confident communication skills
• Good commercial understanding and experience in reporting and documentation 
• Team orientated and enthusiastic personality

Your mission

• Creation of rental advertisements from our extensive portfolio
• Processing of rental inquiries incl. on-site inspections
• Screening and selection of suitable prospective tenants
• Preparation and drafting of rental contracts
• Master data management before and after conclusion of the contract as well as lease termination management
• Verification of deposit receipts in cooperation with the rental accounting department
• Interdepartmental working methods

Your profile

• Completed property-specific training or studies
• Preferably professional experience in property industry (career changers are also welcome) 
• High level of social and intercultural competence as well as a sovereign and confident manner 
• Enthusiasm and passion for property and contact with people 
• Strong and confident communication skills, ideally also in English 
• Independent and proactive way of working  
• High affinity for the use of digital tools and technologies 
• Confident and experienced handling of ix-Haus and EverReal desirable 
• Team player and friendly personality with a sales-orientated mindset
